The collection consists of a file compiled by Phyllis Rich Flood (later, Phyllis Feder), while working as a representative for Push Pin Studios, a graphic design and illustration group founded by Milton Glaser, Seymour Chwast, and Edward Sorel. The file documents the "First Annual Chopped Liver Sculpture Festival," dubbed "Man and Liver," a promotional event for the studio conceived by Flood. The file includes press releases, invitations, mailing lists, and an article about the exhibt, which was held at the Greengrass Media Art Gallery in New York City on October 13, 1976. The exhibit featured works carved out of three hundred pounds of chopped liver that had been donated by the Second Avenue Kosher Delicatessen and Restaurant. The file includes slides of seventeen of the sculptures featured in the exhibit.
