Scope and Contents

Original student work includes watercolors depicting glassware, several brochure designs for the Paris Ateliers, the Parisian campus of the New York School of Fine and Applied Art where Bannerman studied during the 1929 academic year, and a colorful advertisement for ice picks. Dynamic Symmetry exercises consist of pencil drawings of animals with a translucent overlay. Travel watercolors, many of which are dated and labeled by location, depict various historic sites, museum pieces, and locations Bannerman visited in Italy under the supervision of Van Day Truex.
