Special Training Programs, sometimes called Intensive Training Pograms, were either two-semester long courses, usually accompanied by practical training in the form of a field placement, or comprised a more advanced program requiring the completion of a greater number of courses. Special Training Programs could lead to a Human Relations Center Certificate or to a New School BA degree. Course components of the programs are sometimes referred to as Special Training Courses.
