Audiovisual material in this subseries is organized chronologically. MSG Metro Channels launched in 1998, and included a package of three local news and entertainment cable channels made available through Cablevision in the New York area. The MSG Metro Learning Channel was one of the channels. According to the Daily News, the channel was "patterned after a local newspaper format."
