Biographical / Historical

Born and raised in New York, Wendy Goodman is a writer and editor primarily focused on design. Initially studying to be an actor at New York University, she turned to journalism and has been active in the field since 1978. During the 1980s and 1990s, Goodman was a fashion editor with Harper's Bazaar, the New York Times Sunday magazine, and New York magazine. She became interiors editor for New York magazine in the 1990s, becoming the editor of the Design Hunting newsletter.
