Biographical / Historical

James Wojcik is a photographer of still lifes focused in the editorial and commercial spheres. He graduated in 1981 from Art Center College of Design of Pasadena, California with a degree in photography. His work has appeared in Allure, GQ, House and Garden, Newsweek, New York Times Magazine, Time, Vanity Fair, and Vogue (American and international editions). He has also photographed advertising campaigns for Coach, Clinique, DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana, Gap, H. Stern, MTV, Mumm’s, Nike, and Vera Wang. Wojcik has taught at New York University and the International Center of Photography. In 1998, he won the Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography.
