Scope and Contents
Includes most of the original artwork presented by Parsons School of Design students in the 1970 exhibition, My God! We’re Losing a Great Country. Mounted in lieu of classes as an act of solidarity with the National Student’s Strike against the Kent State massacre, artwork from every department demonstrates efforts to promote socially conscious art. Includes work by Ray Fost, Posy Jackson, Frieda Kohn, Nancy Stewart, Melissa Wentzell, Bari Gerber, and unidentified artists. Exhibition catalog will be found in the New School exhibitions and public programs collection (NS.05.03.01).
