"Another Life" is a novel in progress centered around a small town Evangelical church. Paul Frazier returns to his hometown from school in New York City, his dreams of being a rock star crushed. He takes up a job running sound at a local church and begins an affair with an April Swanson, his former high school math teacher who runs the church's vacation bible school. The book also follows Laura, April's daughter, as she conducts a covert online relationship with a strange man, and Ben, a young boy dealing with the presence of Deshawn, his foster brother from Brooklyn.
