Francesca Sammaritano, who coordinated the transfer of the line sheets to the New School Archives in February 2019 stated, "It is about 10 year's worth of BFA Senior Fashion Design work that I have collected, in the form of line sheets collated by year." Sammaritano's colleague School of Fashion BFA Program Administrator Natalia Dare coordinated a later transfer of two additional binders in September 2019.

These line sheets were formerly housed in eighteen chronologically arranged binders and all but the most recent years stored in the School of Fashion conference room. Within each binder, student work was grouped by alphabetical “section,” that is the section of the course. Each section (Section A, Section B, etc.) had different instructors, but the students were being taught the same content. Although binders were discarded, the New School Archives staff retained the groupings of the line sheets and their labels.
