The title page indicates that this is a dissertations, however the archivists believe that to be incorrect. According to the list of Graduate Faculty degrees conferred from the New School Office of the President commencement records (NS.05.05.02), Weiss completed a master's degree in psychology without a thesis in 1958. The archivists presume that she completed the thesis after her graduation date.
