This record group consists of text files of theses created by students in Parsons School of Design's MA program in History of Design and Curatorial Studies between 2023 and 2024.

The Parsons School of Design Master of Arts Design Studies program was established to encourage the study of design as a transdisciplinary discipline with the goal of preparing students to become active agents of social change. The collection consists of physical and electronic files documenting the program's development and planning, and reporting on its progress, as well as syllabi and video recordings of a 2014 symposium.

The Parsons School of Design Master of Arts (MA) Design Studies program was launched in 2012 with the aim of exploring design as "a field of scholarly research and an agent of social change." The program became a minor in 2018. This collection contains student theses from 2014-2018, representing all four graduating classes in the program's history as a major.

This record group consists of analog, print theses created by students in Parsons School of Design's master's program in industrial design, situated within the School of Constructed Environments.

Collection consists of theses written by students in the Parsons School of Design MFA Lighting Design program.

This record group consists of graduate theses created by students in the Parsons School of Design Photography MFA program.

The theses consist of mixed-media digital images, video, and Microsoft PowerPoint files. Also included are Microsoft Word doc and pdf files containing artist statements.

This collection contains the records of the Office of the Executive Dean of Parsons School of Design. Included are correspondence, memos, reports, clippings and press releases, syllabi and other course-related material, and printed promotional material. These records were created during the tenures of four Parsons deans: H. Randolph Swearer (1998-2004), Paul Goldberger (2004-2006), Timothy Marshall (2006-2009), and Joel Towers (2009-2018).

This collection consists of records created and received by Parsons School of Design Presidents Sterling A. Callisen (president 1959-1963) and Francis A. Ruzicka (president 1963-1969), and records of the Parsons Academic Dean's Office and Business Manager from the 1950s-1960s.
