Scope and Content of Collection

Katherine Bosch (1896-1980) attended the New York School of Fine and Applied Art (later, Parsons School of Design) from 1917 to 1920 and received her diploma in Interior Architecture, Decoration, and Furniture Design. The collection consists of three undated watercolor renderings depicting doorways.

Biographical note

Katherine Bosch was born on July 10, 1896. She attended the New York School of Fine and Applied Art (now, Parsons The New School for Design) from 1917 to 1920. She received her diploma in Interior Architecture, Decoration, and Furniture Design in 1920. She died in December 1980 in Houghton, Michigan.

Custodial History note

The Katherine Bosch student work collection was donated to Parsons before the establishment of the New School Archives. The collection was transferred to the New School Archives in 1994.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Transfer from Adam and Sophie Gimbel Library to the archives circa 1994.
