Scope and Contents In a spring 2007 Communication Design and Technology class taught by graphic designer and typographer Professor Andrea Dezsö, students created a pack of 110 commemorative cards showcasing the most important milestones of the 100 year history of Parsons School of Design's Communication Design Department and the 10 year history of the Design and Technology Department. Students conceptualized, researched and established selection criteria for the deck, which they also designed and produced.Each student was assigned a ten-year period to research within 100 years of Parsons catalogs held by the Kellen Design Archives. Their task was to showcase design elements that best represented their assigned year. Besides collecting the work to showcase on the commemorative cards, students learned important lessons in the ways visual communication reflects social, political and economic circumstances. Two sets of small (2-1/2" x 4") printed cards, numbered 87/200 and 55/200, with each set of 60 cards contained in a hard plastic case, created for the Fall 1992 course, Satiric Image. Groups of cards within the set were created by Steve Angel, Circe Bosch, William Bredbeck, Tom Cho, Dan Delrymple, David Desanctis, Jeremy Rosenstein, Barry A. Sanders, Henry Tom, Jonathan Wood, Briana Zones, and Paul Corio.

Scope and Contents Includes slides and syllabi removed from three-ring binders. 1995-1997 is organized by year, while 1998-2002 is organized by course title. Student names are inscribed on most of the slides, as well as faculty critics. Several slides are either illegible or have no name. The 1995-1997 set also includes contact sheets. A collaborative project between two Parsons School of Design classes, led by faculty members Kira Appelhans and Richard Karty, during the Spring 2011 semester, this booklet documents research into the history of three remnant waterways in lower Manhattan. One of the classes, Waterlogged, is listed in course catalogs under the Integrated Design Curriculum program. The other, Restoration Ecology (variously referred to as Ecological Restoration and Urban Conservation: Restoration), is listed under the Environmental Studies program. The courses were probably part of the University Lecture course offerings (ULECs), open to all Parsons and Eugene Lang College students.

Publication documenting a collaboration between New School Urban Collaborative (Parsons School of Design and Milano Graduate Finance Lab students) and Elsewhere, an experimental, living museum and artist residency program in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina. Parsons Integral City Studio students who participated in the project came from the Urban Design, Integrated Design, Interior Design and Architectural Design programs.
