Includes correspondence between New School administrators and Newton, who donated funds for a library and in 1943 hosted a celebration of Alvin Johnson at at her home in Daylesford, Pennsylvania. Thomas Mann and Jacques Maritain attended. Includes a photograph of Newton with Johnson, Mann and Maritain.

Articles include, "Trailblazing in Housing Education," and "Modern Music at the New School." Writers are often unidentified, although it is likely that Agnes De Lima composed many of these pieces. Other writers include Charles A. Beard, Alvin Johnson, Horace Kallen and Clara Mayer, as well as a former student and lecturers.
