Scope and Contents Porges kept profile books to record each student she taught. She asked students to write their name, place of origin, academic background, goals for the class and contact information on a page. A photograph of the student accompanies most entries. Porges made notes on some entries, including comments on the student's performance, current ventures or gifts they gave her.
