Lorraine Fox offprints, transparencies, and tear sheets
Lorraine Fox (1922-1976) began her career in commercial illustration in the 1940s, becoming one of the most celebrated female illustrators of the mid-20th century. The collection, spanning the final decade of Fox's life, includes proofs, transparencies and tear sheets of album covers, book illustrations, greeting cards, and advertisements. Fox taught at Parsons School of Design from 1965 until shortly before her death in 1976.
Lucie Porges fashion design papers
The Lucie Porges fashion design papers include biographical materials, fashion sketches, fashion illustrations and fashion photographs, and teaching records. It is of a primarily professional nature, with little documentation of Porges's personal life. The primary activities documented are Porges's fashion design work for Pauline Trigère and her teaching activities at Parsons School of Design.

Luis Rey graduated from the Interior Design Department of Parsons School of Design in 1967. The collection consists of student projects, primarily in the form of drawings and plans, executed by Rey for his courses between 1964 and 1967.

Lyman Martin interior decoration work and papers
Lyman Martin (1908-2003) graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1939 and joined Thedlow, an interior decoration firm. At Thedlow, Martin created interiors and watercolor renderings, and designed rugs and murals. In 1969, Martin became president of Thedlow, remaining until its closure in 1979. The collection includes student work, interior drawings, a travel diary, floorplans, photographs, clippings, and exhibition files.
Malcolm Carter University Communications records
Malcolm Carter became director of The New School's university communications in 1985. The Malcolm Carter University Communications records document the three primary areas of activity over which Carter had oversight: advertising and marketing; public relations; and publications. Materials include memoranda, letters, reports, and printed materials, encompassing the range of Carter's activities.
Mannes Camerata collection
The Mannes Camerata, founded in 1981 by Paul Echols, was Mannes College of Music's early-music ensemble. It was comprised of students, faculty, and graduates of the combined undergraduate and graduate early music programs at the Mannes, which joined The New School in 1989. The collection contains scores, schedules and program notes, photographic materials, librettos, press releases, and correspondence.
