Amos Parrish fashion merchandising clinic workbook
The workbook that comprises this collection was used during the Amos Parrish Fashion Merchandising Clinic, held in New York City, January 6-10, 1930. The clinic was offered once and at times twice annually from the 1920s through 1955 to forecast the year's fashion industry trends. This workbook belonged to Howard Phillips, merchandise manager for Ernst Kern Department Store, Detroit, Michigan, and was annotated by Phillips.
Bonnie Cashin, Philip Sills & Company publicity photographs
American fashion designer Bonnie Cashin (1908-2000) had a longstanding partnership with manufacturer Philip Sills and Co., spanning 1953 into the mid-1970s. This collection represents 65 fashion photographs, some with accompanying press releases, from 1967-1968.
Carol Loebelsohn fashion illustrations
The Carol Loebelsohn fashion illustrations represent a sampling of the professional and teaching work of Parsons School of Design alumna and faculty member Carol Loebelsohn. The bulk of the over 150 illustrations covers the 1960s into the 1990s, and includes a variety of media and drawing techniques.
Cory Benett Bloomingdale's shopping bag collection
The collection consists of over one hundred shopping bags, primarily produced by Bloomingdale's department store and acquired by Cory Benett, a Bloomingdale's employee, for his personal enjoyment. The mostly paper bags feature art and design work by major designers, artists, and photographers of the late 1970s through the early 1990s. The collection also contains a small number of bags from other retailers.
Elizabeth Cornell fashion design illustrations
This collection of 24 drawings and paintings consists of women’s and men’s fashion illustrations created by Elizabeth Cornell, probably in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The illustrations mostly depict women’s and men’s wear, accessories, and fabric patterns.

Fred Brenner fashion illustrations
Fred Brenner (1920-2006) was a fashion illustrator specializing in menswear, who taught illustration at Parsons School of Design from 1962 until 1984. This collection is comprised of approximately forty original fashion illustrations, as well as a smaller number of publications featuring his work, reprints and pre-print process work.
Helen Faith Keane fashion merchandising files
Helen Faith Keane (née Kahn) Reichert (1901-2011) was a professor at the New York University School of Retailing from approximately 1946 until 1977. The files consist of clippings, course materials, handwritten notes on fashion press, print publications of a vocational nature by other merchandising educators, and programs and invitations for fashion shows.
Issey Miyake, Inc. lookbooks
Collection consists of English-language lookbooks and other printed promotional materials for Japanese fashion label Issey Miyake, Inc., produced largely between 2014 and 2016.
J. Hyde Crawford fashion illustrations
J. Hyde Crawford (1930-2013), an alumnus of Parsons School of Design, was a successful fashion illustrator associated with Bonwit Teller department store. This collection is comprised of approximately fifty original drawings and one hundred clippings and tearsheets documenting Crawford's illustration work.
