Activism at The New School oral history program
The Activism at The New School oral history program, initiated in 2019, documents touchstone moments of activism on The New School’s campus from the perspective of students, faculty, and staff who participated. As of April 2020, interviewees include activists in the anti-Vietnam War movement; the 1996-1997 Mobilization for Real Diversity, Democracy, and Economic Justice at The New School; and campus protests in the 2000s-2010s.

Ann Snitow retirement party collection
Feminist activist and scholar Ann Barr Snitow (1943-2019) taught at The New School's Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts from 1986 until her retirement in April 2019. This collection visually documents a retirement party held in her honor. It includes image and video files.
Barrie Karp papers
Barrie Karp was a professor of philosophy, psychology, feminist theory, and critical race theory at The New School for twenty-five years (circa 1983-2008). These papers document her teaching career with syllabi, course notes, and student work. Also included in the collection is a small amount of correspondence with colleagues and materials related to courses Karp taught at other universities.
Biomedical Research in the 21st Century seminar recordings
“Biomedical Research in the 21st Century” was a seminar series hosted by Eugene Lang College's Science, Technology and Society program in the Fall semester of 1998. Organized by New School professor Katayoun Chamany and Louis M. Aledort, a hematologist at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, the series featured lectures by physicians and scientists on topics related to biomedical research. The collection consists of fourteen video recordings of the sessions.
Carmen Hendershott collection of New School ephemera
The material in this collection was assembled by New School librarian Carmen Hendershott and transferred periodically to the New School Archives. The collection includes fliers, posters, invitations, program and admissions materials, and event programs produced by multiple university divisions including the New School for Social Research, College of Performing Arts, and Schools of Public Engagement, as well as by academic support centers and offices.

Eugene Lang College collection
Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts is the undergraduate liberal arts college of The New School university system. Librarians in the former Raymond Fogelman Library established this collection of printed materials and ephemera created by the Eugene Lang College administration, faculty, or students, and The New School Archives staff occasionally adds to the collection. The bulk of the collection consists of student periodicals in the form of newspapers and journals.
