Various manuscripts, all similarly titled, on aspects of painting. They may represent different drafts of the same or related lectures or essays, and closely resemble the manuscripts in the Disquisitions files.

The manuscript titled, "Reflections on Oil Painting," indicates that Ullman wrote it for a talk delivered at the New York Public Library on February 15, 1944. Clippings in the Printed materials and publicity series reveal that Ullman gave lectures at other institutions, and these drafts may represent revisions of the 1944 talk.
