Ann Snitow retirement party collection
Feminist activist and scholar Ann Barr Snitow (1943-2019) taught at The New School's Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts from 1986 until her retirement in April 2019. This collection visually documents a retirement party held in her honor. It includes image and video files.

Carmen Hendershott collection of New School ephemera
The material in this collection was assembled by New School librarian Carmen Hendershott and transferred periodically to the New School Archives. The collection includes fliers, posters, invitations, program and admissions materials, and event programs produced by multiple university divisions including the New School for Social Research, College of Performing Arts, and Schools of Public Engagement, as well as by academic support centers and offices.
Carol Wilder New School School of Media Studies binders
These papers consist of administrative planning documents about the development of the Media Studies curriculum and programs at The New School from 1986 until 2014, compiled into binders by Media Studies professor and longtime chair of the program, Carol Wilder, mainly covering the years 1986-2006.
Cave Canem event recordings
The New School's Writing Program began collaborating with Cave Canem, a nonprofit organization promoting poetry of the African Diaspora, in 2001. The collection primarily contains sound recordings of public programming from the first decade of the partnership.

This collection is comprised of academic papers, specifically the working papers, numbers 1-237, sponsored by the Center for Studies of Social Change (CSSC) soon after its establishment in 1984 until 1998. The bulk are authored by director Charles Tilly (1984-1995).

Conversations about Women event recordings
Conversations about Women was an ongoing lecture series held at The New School, focusing on biographical and autobiographical writing about women. Historian and New School women’s studies professor Gina Luria Walker moderated the panels and lectures. The collection is comprised almost entirely of audio recordings, with one set of video recordings documenting Changing Health: Women's History.
Conversations with Actors event recordings
Theater critic and biographer Martin Gottfriend organized and moderated the event series, “Conversations with Actors,” at The New School every semester from Summer 1991 through Spring 1994. Each session featured group interviews with well-known actors, especially New York City-based stage actors. The collection consists of audio recordings of the interviews.
