Abstract
This collection consists of three audio recordings of lectures held as part of the Henry Wolf Lecture Series. This series, held in the Fall of 1998 in honor of graphic designer and longtime Parsons School of Design instructor Henry Wolf, focused on all aspects of graphic design. Speakers featured in these recordings include Henry Wolf, Ivan Chermayeff, and Milton Glaser. No transcripts have been made.

Scope and Contents
Lectures feature Henry Wolf, a longtime faculty member, in addition to three other designers and artists with whom he had worked over the course of his career: Milton Glaser, Ivan Chermayeff, and photographer Duane Michals (New School University Observer, August 1999, 2). A recording of the Michals lecture is not present in the New School Archives.
According to Parsons School of Design Dean Randolph "Randy" Swearer in an introduction to the series, Wolf was integral to creating the series, which focuses on all aspects of graphic design.

Historical note
Parsons School of Design, the art and design college of The New School (formerly, the New School for Social Research) sponsored the Henry Wolf Lecture Series in the fall of 1998, coinciding with an exhibition of Wolf's photography at the school.

In 2014, these four cassette tapes were separated from a larger collection of Parsons School of Design audiovisual materials compiled by Kellen Design Archives staff. Provenance of tapes is unknown.
