Alison Smith Hannan student notebook
Alison Smith Hannan (1925-) graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1947. She maintained this student notebook while studying fashion design and fashion illustration between 1945 and 1947.
Fashion and Diversity event series
The Fashion and Diversity event series at The New School was organized in 2016 by three students in the Master of Arts in Fashion Studies at Parsons School of Design. The collection consists of a recording from "Fashion and Race," one of the events in the series, as well as the contents of a Google Drive folder containing documents related to the production of the series.
Francesca Sammaritano student work and teaching examples
Francesca Sammaritano is a fashion designer and alumna of Parsons School of Design, as well as a full-time faculty member. The collection is comprised of two student project notebooks maintained by Sammaritano while she was a Fashion BFA student at Parsons School of Design in the late 1980s and two examples of student work created in classes Sammaritano taught as a professor.
Lucie Porges fashion design papers
The Lucie Porges fashion design papers include biographical materials, fashion sketches, fashion illustrations and fashion photographs, and teaching records. It is of a primarily professional nature, with little documentation of Porges's personal life. The primary activities documented are Porges's fashion design work for Pauline Trigère and her teaching activities at Parsons School of Design.

Margaret Louise Lange's notebook, produced while a student of Costume Design and Illustration at Parsons School of Design, 1938-1939, includes lecture notes, sketches, color studies and fashion clippings.
Margaret Susan Daniell papers
The Margaret Susan Daniell papers consist of biographical materials, a student notebook and drawings from her education at Parsons School of Design in the late 1920s, and two photographs. Daniell (1907-1998) studied fashion design at Parsons and later worked at Paramount Studios.

Parsons School of Design academic programs collection
Parsons School of Design was established in 1896 and became affiliated with The New School as the university's art and design college in 1970. New School Archives staff assembled this collection of audiovisual materials, exhibition catalogs, posters, publications, student work, and other formats from departmental transfers and personal donations by Parsons School of Design faculty, students and administrative staff beginning in 2009.

Predominantly comprised of records produced by the Parsons School of Design Development Office, this collection documents fundraising, special programs, events, and reunion plans. Other offices included are Admissions, Alumni Relations, Career Services, Public Relations, Publication Design, Special Events, and Student Council. Parsons School of Design Centenary oral history project
The Parsons School of Design Centenary Oral History Project consists of recorded sound interviews with twelve individuals as well as two audio monologues by the project's manager, Martica Sawin. The interviews, recorded in 1994, cover the history of different academic departments and design disciplines over the course of the twentieth century as experienced by former and then-current instructors and administrators. Recordings are all in English.
