Much of his presentation focuses on the arc of his education, specifically the influence of Minor White and his experience photographing volcanoes for NASA. He follows with a slideshow of his work, discussing how photographs are experienced by the viewer.

In the first of three segments, Lucille Khornak discusses her experiences in fashion photography, offers advice on addressing problems during a shoot, and relays various challenges associated with the profession. Khornak then presents a slideshow of images from her book, Fashion 2001, and discusses the editorial process. The workshop concludes with a question and answer session. In the second segment, Khornak continues to present slides and speak on her experiences with editorial work. A question and answer session follows the presentation. During the third segment, fashion photographer William Klein enters the room and Khornak tells a story about working with him. She continues to answer questions from participants.

In the first of three segments, Klaus Laubmayer provides a biographical overview of his career. He shows examples of his work, offers professional advice, and compares the fashion photography industries in Europe and the United States. Laubmayer continues this discussion in the second segment, later speaking on changes in the industry and the technical aspect of fashion photography. Toward the end of the recording, Laubmayer converses with a student about whether the United States fashion industry is lagging behind the fashion industry in Europe. In the third segment, Laubmayer continues answering questions from participants.

James Moore presents a slideshow of his photographic work, mostly comprised of editorial fashion photographs for Harper's Bazaar from the 1960s and 1970s. Moore then plays a video of television clips and commercials that he produced for Chloe, Bloomingdales, and other companies and discusses the differences between print and live action shoots. Moore continues to answer questions from the audience, mainly discussing the specificities of directing and shooting commercials.

In the first of four segments, Benedict (Ben) Fernandez introduces Xavier Moreau, a photography agent. Moreau discusses his approach to commercial and fashion photography and the qualities of a successful photographer. He proceeds to offer professional advice on various aspects of the fashion industry. This discussion continues into the second segment. During the first part of the second segment, the recording quality is poor in places, making it impossible to understand what Moreau is saying. In the third segment, Moreau elaborates further on the key principles for success. The fourth segment ends after five minutes.
